What this preview reads

We open the page you enter and read the tags in its page code: the page title and meta description Google uses, the Open Graph tags (og:) most apps and chats use when someone shares a link, and the X card tags. The previews are built from exactly those tags.

Why it matters

Your title and description are often the first thing people read about you in Google. A shared link with a clear title and a picture gets noticed in a busy feed. Both come from a few lines in your page that most site builders let you fill in.

What it doesn't look at

Google and each app can still change what they show, shorten long titles or pick other text. We read one page as it is right now, so check again after you change it.

Every article ready to be found and shared.

Each article AutoSEOPilot writes comes with its own search title, meta description and a 1200 × 630 share image.

Questions people ask.

Is this preview free?
Yes. Paste a page address and the preview shows right away. No account needed.
What are Open Graph tags?
Lines in your page's code, like og:title and og:image, that tell apps what title, text and picture to show when someone shares the link.
What size should my share image be?
1200 × 630 pixels works almost everywhere. Keep the important part in the middle, since some apps crop the edges.
I changed my tags but the old preview still shows. Why?
Apps keep a copy of a link's preview for a while. Our check reads your page fresh each time, so it shows your new tags right away.
Where do I set these tags?
Most site builders and SEO plugins have fields for the title, description and share image on each page.
Does a meta description help me rank?
Not directly. It shapes the text people see under your title in Google, which helps them decide to click.
